Hi Rob, Brett and Janet;
Its not a problem to write a note of thanks when your expectations have been so far
exceeded. As was the case in my charter of ‘Tangaroa’ in March. Thank you.
Specifically, the boat had a really complete and orderly kit – rarely the case with a
charter. Every nook and cranny was immaculately clean when we boarded – also a
pleasant surprise. Though we were an hour late at the end of the day when we did
arrive, we got a thorough, documented, pleasant, knowledgeable and un-hurried briefing
from Brett. You allowed us to spend the first night at the dock without incurring a big
charge. In our trip, the yacht sailed better and closer than I had expected, and
everything worked. We found documentation orderly and complete – like when we had
to figure out how to enable propane flow, or change water tanks. And there was no
‘nannying’ – no requirement for us to report each evening’s anchorage: we were free
and blissfully out of touch.
I have chartered bareboat yachts elsewhere in New Zealand, in the Caribbean, in
Australia. But in all these aspects of an enjoyable adventure that I reference here your
Charterlink operation in Auckland was superior. Even the winds cooperated on our
voyage, blowing us southwest and home from Kawau when our time was up.
So thanks for all that. Was a great adventure and your operation was key. Hope to
schedule another one next season.

Yes thanks we had a wonderful time and have been telling friends and family what a wonderful boat Sequin is.

Dear Rob, Janet and Brett,
Just a quick email to say how pleased we were with you and your organisation over our recent charter of Tikiti Boo. Everything was spotless on our arrival and Brett's efficient briefing allowed us to get under way quickly and to be in Kawau in time for sundowners promptly at 6pm! Great wildlife wherever we went, including 2 minke whales, several pods of dolphins and a hammerhead shark. Thank you too for arranging those inflatable lifejackets which were ideal for Carol and me. (We may be back next year, so treasure them!)

Hi Janet,
We had a fantastic time on the boat. I think the waterway is one of Aucklands best asset. As I've said to all my friends it was a highlight amongst highlights.

Dear Janet, Rob,
I wanted to thank you for the very pleasant few days we had on the Bavaria 33. As owners of a small Noelex 22’ trailer-sailer, the Bavaria was a real step up for us and – as Rob correctly noted – has somewhat spoilt us. Having electric everything (plus winches) made sailing very easy and meant that my sailing gloves stayed in my bag.
The boat was big enough for us and our three children (8, 12 & 14), who were happy to either sit in the bow or go below to read or sleep as we sailed.
Renting a bigger yacht for a short cruise (Rakino, Kawau and Waiheke) was a very practical option for we locals: I have been recommending both the idea and yourselves to our friends.
We plan to see you again next summer and will probably take the 38 next time.

We had a superb time and apart from a couple of very small details the boat went very well.
We were delighted with your service and look forward to making time to do that again. We did a trip to Whangaroa stayed two nights and sailed back.
Next time we might sail from Auckland to Opua.
